My vote for male actor in an ugly role goes to [Jackie Earle Haley](http://www.bluemag.com/features/rogues_gallery1.html) Man this guy is hard to find pictures of. ---

I saw a very…unconventional-looking actress on a Dharma and Greg episode once (the one where they separate while planning their friends’ wedding, but then they get back together, but then they get into a car accident). I think her name is Helen Greenberg. Can’t find any pictures. ---

On the other hand, while I can agree that Sandra Bernhard nor Ileana Douglas are blessed with pleasing facial features (which I guess is close to the definition of ugly) they never really struck me as particularly ugly because they usually play high-spirited characters (seen them in Will & Grace / Bella Mafia and Action). With respect to Kathy Bates, I’m sorry to say that her role in Misery has made an indelible impression on me, so I find it hard to see her as gorgeous (like with any role of Antony Hopkins I think ‘Boy, does that guy look a lot like Hannibal Lecter’). But I guess that’s just me.😃 ---

Catherine Zeta-Jones is scrawny and bony like a stray cat with an average face. Julia Roberts has that awkward lanky body that most women grow out of by the age of fifteen in addition to the dentition of equus caballus. Gimme the redheaded chick from That 70’s Show. ---
