# Ugliest wrapping paper

I think [this](http://www.gimp.org/~kelly/uglypaper.jpg) is just about the ugliest wrapping paper I’ve come across. Paper like this can’t even be used to line a catbox. The stripes are about four inches wide, and, yes, that is metallic silver.

Anybody seen anything worse this season?

OH, yeah. What are you supposed to wrap in that, somebody’s Fourth of July present? Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Please don’t tell me that Halmarque the God of Pointless Holidays hath decreed, yea verily, that from this day forth we must all obtain and wrap Joyous Fourth presents. Somebody shoot me.

As for Ugly Christmas Wrapping Paper, the best place to spot it is on December 27, in the bins at Wal-Mart, the good stuff having been snapped up by 4 p.m. on the 26th. But you have to look fast, because believe it or not, people will even buy THAT, if it’s half-price.

I _think_ I can beat that. I actually used this paper too. [My ugly wrapping paper.](http://people.mn.mediaone.net/patti76/uglypaper.jpg) It came free in the mail, lol.
