There was a cleaned up version; Porter rewrote the lyric himself for the first movie version of Anything Goes. The Hayes office was not going to allow the reference, and the song was too popular to remove from the movie.
Instead of “I get no kick from cocaine,” the line is “Some like the perfumes in Spain.” The rest of the verse stays with the original:
Despite the mention, it’s clearly an antidrug reference: The lyrics say cocaine is boring.
