And they likely know what JMHO stands for. The I in IMHO is confusing them because it doesn’t seem humble. ---

I find it hilarious that this abbreviation appears frequently on Russian internet sites transliterated into Russian letters: ИМХО. But the letters don’t stand for any Russian words, it’s just a wholesale borrowing of the English abbreviation. Of course, the Х still stands for humble. Or rather хамбл. 🙂 ---

That’s what the letters in the Russian abbreviation look like, but they’re completely different letters than the English “cee” and “pee”. And don’t even get me started on people replacing E with Σ to make something look “Greek”: “My Big Fat GrΣΣk Wedding” would be pronounced “Grssk”. ---
