Oh dear god, Christine Hamilton. I love her and hate her. She’s the sort of person I have to watch through my fingers. I can’t wait. And in BB, there’s some kind of shenanigans going on in the poor bedroom - they’ve been told to keep out of there and strange machinery noises are eminating. Wonder what’s going on. ---

Tim will be up for eviction today. I was watching BBLB last night and they showed some nominations but didn’t tell who the person they were nominating, but it was Tim they were talking about. They all nominated him except Alex so he will definitely be out this week, at this stage I would prefer Jade than Alex. Big Brother gave them an early morning call, just before 9am. Kate and Jade rushed, bleary eyed to the store room following the instructions, and cried out “Oh my God!” as their eyes widened with glee. Kate and Jade, excited and chirpy despite the early hour, tried to cheer up a miserable, moaning Tim, who had a whinge about a few things. Jonny returned from the diary room with news that a challenge lay ahead. The task begins at 9am this morning, and music will be played at anytime throught the day up until 1am, ultimately ending at 6pm on Wednesday night. When the claxton sounds, all of the housemates will have three minutes to get to bedroom two, and must be in full safety gear and booted up. Once there, they have to dance on skates, until the music stops. No food or drink is allowed to be taken in there with them. The failure of one of them to get there in time, is classed as a “no show”, and a total of three of these, will result in the overall failure of the task. If the housemates succeed, they will be rewarded with a 70’s themed party on Wednesday night. Initially, Alex and Tim weren’t as keen as the others, who seemed more than happy at the prospect. However, Big Brother didn’t want to make things too easy and reminded them to not wear their skates in the house. ---

Suddenly got an image of \*\* manwithaplan \*\*'s dinner party speciality dish: Kebab a la ‘Christie Hamilton’ dressed in a spray of foliage and with strips of chunky steak falling out the sides. Mmmmmm… So, the performing seals get to play on roller blades today ! …It’s almost humiliating, isn’t it (and I starting to sound like Tim) ? Anyone else think Jade’s decibel level at a roller disco might be a tad on the high side ? BTW, one of the teevee highlights for me of the past year would certainly be the Louis Theroux with the Hamiltons thing. Outstandingly surreal at times. Don’t they need Vanessa Phelps on this celebrity Survivor – could be very 'Lord of the Flies… ---

I’ve seen it before. I really like the narrator. He makes everything seem like the world is going to end. The was one about the fight over the name “Bucks Fizz” which was hilarious. ---

So it’s Tim and Alex up for eviction this week. There’s really no competition is there? I loved the Louis Theroux Hamiltons programme. I feel so sorry for the couple but half the time they bring it on themselves. I thought I would cry of embarressment if Neil actually went through with having that advert banner at the press conference thing. And when Christine got pissed and started shouting at the press. Great TV. I met Rhona Cameron in a lesbian bar in Soho once. She let me take my picture with her, she was very nice. I hope she does that programme. ---

I’ve just thought of something. Alex could possibly be voted out. Think about it if you are a Kate or Jonny fan and there are a lot of them this is the only chance they have of getting the main competition out. If Tim stays in, very few are going to vote for him to win next week. If enough people vote tactically this week Alex could go. ---

It’s a pity if he goes - he had every chance of winning. If Tim was evicted and the Kate/Jonny vote split in the final week, he was in with a shout for the cash. That Bucks Fizz thing was top class. I loved when the original Bucks Fizz guy (Mike Nolan?) called the Dollar chap’s act ‘tacky’ because he pulled the fizzettes’ tops off rather than their skirts during ‘Making your mind up’. Pot, meet kettle. ---

Tim’s moment of reckoning is at hand. Who caught him “conprawnday” in the diary room to BB? What a tosser. The fight between Jade and anyone who got her way last night (Ch4) was very funny indeed. She was totally out of her league with Alex who tore her apart. Jonny let his mask slip somewhat as well. Wish he’d let it slip with Tim. Tim is a dead cert tonight. Good be very ugly and funny to see him getting grilled by Davina. ---

“Conprawnday” Ehehehehe. I’ve never really seen why people hate Tim, but that was a moment when I thought “What a prick”. You can see him ending mobile phone conversations with “chow” too. I must admit, I laughed and laughed watching the fight last night. Ah, the theatre of cruelty. And I like Alex even more now. Did you see his sly smile when Kate tried to get him and he hid behind the door? And him getting Kate to bend over to look in the fridge. I like that side of him - I wish he’d be like that more of the time, but I guess it takes a skinful to get him like that. Also, he’s about the only one left in the house with a modicum of intelligence, even if he does try a bit too hard on that front. You know where my vote is going next week. Tonight is going to be painful to watch. But you know we’re all going to. ---

Missed last night. Sounds fun – presumably there was a lively bust up ? Will have to make sure the tape is running for tonight’s eviction. Tears before bedtime, I suspect, from the big girls blouse. I was thinking about how much of the 25p a call goes to BB – I’d guess at about 20p. IIRC, in the week Adele left, there was close to 3 ½ million calls: 20p x 3.5 million = £700,000. Not too shabby. I’m a little confused by Kate. I _think_ I’m a pretty good judge but there is a slight nag in the back of my mind that she’s pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes. Very difficult to tell from just the edited highlights. I think she’s playing it straight but… ---
