when the results of the vote are announced, in what order do they read the results?
Logic would say that they should announce it by number of votes ,with the leading candidate first. But I suppose they’ll do it alphabetically, which sounds kinda boring. 
I think this is the livestream of the election results?
If I am not mistaken, candidates get one free mailing to every registered voter in the district (have to pay for paper/printing, but not postage).

They do it in alphabetical order, the order in which they are listed on the 3 foot long ballot paper
The crucial thing about that list is that it is in the order the names appear on the ballot paper. Given the ballot paper’s length, it is an advantage for Count Binface that his name is the third one. Anti-Farage voters who can’t be bothered to read to read all the way through will more easily alight on Binface’s name.
Britain doesn’t randomize the alphabetization of candidate names?
I don’t think you can randomize the alphabetization, you can randomize their order of appearance but the alphabetization is fixed, unless you go to ancient Phoenicia with a time machine…
It’s how it’s done in much of the U.S. They randomize the order of the letters, and then alphabetize the candidate names by that ordering.

Farage won’t be attending the announcement of the results, which are expected to occur within the next few hours. Win or lose, Binface will be the candidate in attendance with the most votes.
Dang, the unfunny joke candidate won. Ain’t that always the way it goes?
Binface finished with 26.9% of the vote, which is more than polling suggested and definitely impressive for a joke candidate nonetheless.
As much as I was hoping against hope that Binface would win, I had a feeling he wouldn’t. Still, ~9000 votes is an amazing total for him. And he might even get to do it again in a few weeks!
As for why Farage didn’t attend, he said, "I’ve been advised tonight by Essex Police that there is an organised campaign to disrupt and degrade the result.”
According to a Reform UK spokesperson: “Essex Police advised Nigel not to attend the count tonight due to a credible threat against him."
However, the Essex police apparently made no such recommendation. They released a statement, "we have a proportionate and robust policing operation to ensure the safety and security of all participants in the count.”
