Ignoring the context of " Glaxo et al. sell most of their drugs in the US, and most of their R&D budget comes from US sales" I’m sorry if English isn’t your first language or something, but failing that there’s really no way to interpret your statement other than you were talking shite. You are clearly and categorically stating that the majority of drug companies research budget comes from US sales, which is demonstrably wrong. Just accept that and move on, rather than trying to make some weak claim of contextual nuance. ---
