Well, this has been an interesting season so far. Once again, all the big four manage only draws, and only United’s was away. As I’ve said, Villa are increasingly looking like a team to reckon with, as would be expected of Martin O’Neill’s side. It’s going to be a very interesting second half of the season… ---

Look, they’ve spent £70m already. Theyre currently just one place above the automatic relegation spot and that only by goal difference. If they don’t beat WBA next week then that’s it, we’re fucked. So please tell me who/which superstars is/are going to come to a club facing relegation?. It matters not how much they are offered to sign for City, these guys just will not entertain a move to a club in the doldrums ---

Is Howard Webb trying to compete with Rob Styles for worst referee around? Like 5 fouls from Lucas before anyone else even gets a chance to foul someone, and he gets zilch. One barely a foul from Adebayor though, and he gets a yellow, which ends up getting him sent off. Ridiculous. Really getting tired of these pathetic refs who allow players like Lucas and Mascherano to foul people all day and nothing happens. Mark Hughes is crap and totally fired though. What a useless manager. Has Sven’s squad plus the likes of Robinho and he manages them to the relegation zone. ---

Manchester’s other rich club had best start doing something; can it come at home at the expense of the quite unexpectedly good Hull City? If the opposition allows Man City space to move at all, they can tear clubs apart with their pace and talent. Most clubs have got the memo that marking city’s players tightly and roughing them up a bit takes them out of their game, but apparently Hull didn’t today. A good day for us bluemooners though. ---
