I thought it was cute. Maybe I’m wrong, but most of my female dolls had a similar crease there. Displaying gender characteristics does not equal sexualising in my book. ---

And what’s up with zoos? People take their _children_ there. The places are full of lions and tigers and bears (oh my!) in all their bear-ass glory. Disgusting. Are they being run by wild animals? They should at least put a pair of pants on. But until then, they shouldn’t let anyone under 21 in. ---

I would have paid more just to have that cake. Birthdays for toddlers aren’t all that fun for grown-ups. So those bears would have been the highlight of the afternoon. Even if the kids noticed, so what? I’m not thinking a three-year-old is that much of a prude that they won’t eat a cake tainted by bear coochie. ---

I think I’ve been conditioned by [Cake Wrecks](http://www.cakewrecks.com/) to look for unintended sexual content in \*all \*decorated cakes. This is nowhere near as bad as some. ---

I saw it pretty quick but that’s a beautiful cake and I don’t see why they couldn’t just take a spatula and smooth out that area. ---

Now, in the bakers defense, those could be navels. Sick, twisted, slitted little navels. A lot of bakers charge extra for that level of detail. ---

I didn’t even notice them in the picture. A bunch of three year-olds aren’t going to care much anyway I’d wager. The cake makers covered it up with flowers when she complained so I don’t think any refund is required. Isn’t three pretty old to have a christening? Or is that how Anglicans roll? ---

My first thought was a seam, but then I noticed the lack of seams anywhere else and thought it was odd for the seam to only be on the bottom. So my second thought is that it was produced by an employee who is either 1) new and not doing it all right or 2) an ex-employee with a sense of humor. ---

Reminds me of a Dear Abby letter I read once from a woman whose mother wanted the woman to put pants on her bulldog so his wangdoodle wouldn’t be on display for all to see. I didn’t notice till it was pointed out, but I’m sure a lot of people would. It’s not really what the 3 yr olds think but the other mothers. I can imagine a crowd where it would not go over well. ---

Eh, I’d buy that it was a mistake. I can imagine the order asking for “Teddy Bears”, and the decorator finished and realizing there wasn’t anything that made the bears obviously “teddy bears”, and so tried a half-hearted effort to throw in a seam without realizing how it would look to others. I’ve seen plenty of cases where people create art or decoration or the like without realizing what it looked like to others. If you add a line as a seam, it can be hard to make your brain see what else it might look like until someone else points it out. ---

Are these bears made of cake or are they just 2 stuffed animals stuck in top of a cake? If the latter – first, that seems incredibly unhygenic to me, and second they probably would have bought the stffed bears from some 3rd party supplier. If the former – bears made of cake batter or frosting don’t need seams.
