:rolleyes: Please, go share your self satisfying “wit” with someone who cares. I happen to be a big fan of the comic industry at large and more importantly of Jack Kirby, and it irks me to hear of something like this happening. If you have such a big issue with my reaction to hearing this, then I suggest you go bitch about it in the pit, otherwise if you have anything usefull to add to the discussion here go for it. Just because I don’t keep up with the majority of ongoing series at large doesn’t make my right to have an opinion on the subject matter any more or less valid than anyone elses, so take your trolling ass out of here.

**monkeylucifer.** You admit to being out of the loop, that you haven’t actually read the book, that you don’t keep up with the majority of ongoing series, that your out-of-date perspective somehow doesn’t invalidate your _uninformed_ opinion, that my informed perspective has nothing useful to offer. And yet _I’m_ the troll here.

I would have enjoyed talking about how instances of retconning/retooling Jack Kirby’s work may or may not have been successful. I am a fan of his work also.

But if you don’t bother to actually read The Ultimates and get an informed opinion, why should I… or anyone here… talk to you?

Consider this a prelude to an actual apology if that will somehow get us talking about the work, rather than each other.
