Along with those I thought of myself. However, it’s turning out that the interesting part of this survey isn’t just isolating a Top Nine, Top 12 or whatever. What’s fun is seeing the relative interest in Rush vs. The Bible, or Ayn Rand vs. Terry Prachett. So if I was starting over, I’d throw in an extra 10 or 15 candidates. However more than 50 or 60 might make voters eyes glaze over. ---

None of those would have made a list like the above and that’s perfectly understandable, but since I didn’t want to diss that fine list by choosing the somewhat dissy “None of the Above,” I chose “Why wasn’t \_\_\_\_\_\_ included?” as a compromise, even though I know why they weren’t. ---
