# Ultraviolet & Law & Order

Dunno if anyone’s seen the British series Ultraviolet, which I caught six episodes of last weekend on the Sci-Fi channel.

At first I thought it was one of those slow police procedural dramas with a medical focus, a Brit version of Law & Order. Even had the ‘two cops walk the beat/two higherups clean up the mess’ structure.

Then I realized after about an hour and a half that they were hunting vampires, and I wasn’t watching PBS, it was the Sci-Fi channel. Neat!

So is it just me or did they heavily borrow its basic structure from L&O? Or is there a earlier Brit series that L&O came from?
