# Umm...I can't email a page.

This may have been covered and I missed it.  
But when I wanted to “email this page” to some new parents (how to handle teething problems) up came something that said I wasn’t logged on and couldn’t edit any posts.  
I _was_ logged on and wasn’t trying to edit anything.  
I just wanted to “email this page.”  
Is this function not working anymore?

It’s been deliberately disabled by the administrators, because some trolls were unfortunately abusing the option. It really should give a more informative message than that, though…

I don’t know if we can ever expect to see it turned on again, but if we do, it won’t be until the folks over at Jelsoft fix up vB to remove the security hole that the trolls were exploiting.

Don’t the messages say “Sent care of vB, who is not responsible for the return address”? I’m sure I’ve gotten pages from people that said that. Garden catalog stuff mostly.
