If it was called a “Drive Through” the implication would have been clear, you _drive_ some sort of vehicle _through_ it. But the use of the word “thru” could give the title various meanings. It would’ve been exceedingly easy to wait until the drive-thru person went to get the order - to reach in, open the register and get a little “change back” with your meal. ---
