I’ve mentioned sveral times that I had a case on Foghorn Leghorn as a child. In fact, I have been known to put on a poke bonnet and shriek, “A MAY-un!” at singles’ bars (which might explain why I am still single). OK, so if you had to “get to know” a cartoon animal, who’s the beast of your choice? Bugs Bunny? Pepe LePew? Mojo Jojo? That creepy Squirrel thing from Spongebob Squarepants? ---

Jessica Rabbit isn’t an animal, silly. 🙂 She’s (almost) a human being! Since I’m an anthro/furry/anime fan, I have no shame about admitting the fuzzy characters I wished were a little more…my size! Minerva Mink from Animaniacs is probably the odd one out–especially since I consider myself openly -gay-! She’s gotta be one of the few females in existance who’s ever gotten a reaction outta me! Pepe LePew is cute–and kinda romantic in his own weird, oddball way, but not really anthropomorphic enough. “Road Rovers” comes to mind…with those tight–‘leaves-little-to-the-imagination’ bodysuits they wore… -Ashley ---

Animals and their bestial attitudes and behaviors have always played an influential role in people through history. We identify with them, we admire them, and so forth. Adam, in the Bible, is said to have ‘coupled’ with many animals before realizing that none of them suited his needs. The Greco-Roman Gods are said in myths to have taken the form of animals and seduced women. Even as far east as Asia there’s the legends of the Kitsune-trickster and the Fox-woman. Hell–even Playboy bunnies will don a pair of rabbit ears and a tail. 😜 And there’s nothing bestial about that? but basically…yea…I guess they’re animals. Oh well. 🙂 ---

Cartoon animals? Hmm. I’ve always liked Polly Ester from Samurai Pizza Cats (my favorite TV show of all time, actually.)
