Seriously! I’m actually shocked that you closed my thread! Deny my logic: you know there are some racists in Canada. This woman could be racist. The way she treated us leads us to believe so. If she isn’t racist, I’m still entitled to an explanation. At any rate, if she treats everyone that way, she should be fired. If this is an exception, she should be fired. Go on. Deny my logic. I dare you. If she contends events did not happen as described, let her go ahead and call me a liar. I’m in absolute shock! ---

Our interaction lasted less than 15 seconds. No rude words were used by anyone. She said, word for word, “Give me tickets or get off my bus”. I swear to God that is word for word what she said, why is this so hard to believe? ---

I mean, obviously our friends and family believe us, but no one else seems to. I really don’t see how that’s worth closing a thread! I’ve been lurking here for years and I’ve seen MUCH crazier threads go on for MUCH longer. ---

You’re acting kind of crazy about this. You encountered a bus driver who behaved terribly but you are merely assuming you know the motivation for that behavior. Why would we believe that you know why the driver was motivated to act in that bizarre manner? ---

If you’ve been lurking for years, you know that ATMB is a forum for discussing the moderator decision. It is not the forum for rehashing your “arguments” from the original thread. I also explained WHY I closed the thread, which you’ve chosen not to address here. ---

I did not stop you from responding to the two or three people in the thread who asked you that question, as you had no difficulty in responding to other portions of their posts. That was also not the only reason I cited for closing the thread. We do not allow calls to action on this board, and your Twitter thread link made it clear that you are waging a campaign against the company in question. I also invited you to re-frame the question and start over, or to rant in the proper place, The Pit. You have not been squelched, but the existing thread, in my view, was not going to work. ---

For the record I’m fairly new to public transportation in Ottawa, and drivers on a new route may in fact be unaware of the route and stops. You see, they have a large (14"?) GPS screen and follow it. That’s it. I’ve asked questions like “do you go to Centrepoint?” and they honestly do no know. I would be absolutely shocked if any bus driver in Canada would have a problem with interacial couples, I mean especially in the large multiracial cities, of which Vancouver is one. ---

In case it’s not clear, I am not angry at anyone on the board, or in British Columbia except that CUNT DRIVER. I haven’t hated anyone since one of my high school teachers used to bully me, but I hate this woman. I don’t understand why I sound irrational to you? ---

ATMB is a place for civil discussion of the rules. Since you seem to be more interested in ranting, I think it’s best to close this. As you were instructed in the closed thread, the place for rants is the Pit. You may open a new thread there. Do not open a new thread in ATMB if you are going to continue to rant.
