Just before the two groups are about to go their separate ways, Gene Hackman gives a quote from somewhere. How is that for being unclear? Does anyone remember the quote I’m referring to and the source?

I believe the quote was from Shakespeare, and it had something the sentiment of “if we meet again, we will rejoice, but if not, let us know we made our parting well”.

The quote is from Julius Caesar, Act V, Scene I. The words are spoken by Brutus:

> [@](#):
>
> But this same day must end that work the ides of March begun; and whether we shall meet again I know not. Therefore our everlasting farewell take. For ever, and for ever, farewell, Cassius. If we do meet again, why, we shall smile; if not, why then this parting was well made.
