Yeah, I marathon watched the first half of the season, and watched the rest weekly with you guys. The fact it was a mini-series helped. Next season will be harder. Big Jim was a bit of a caricature (Iā€™m pretty tired of the ā€œbad guy is a Republican religious nutā€ meme that fits Big Jim), but the novel was enjoyable enough that I was able to overlook that, for the most part. ---

Yeah, Iā€™m out too. I thought the first season was pretty stupid, hated the cliffhanger, and donā€™t plan to give up anymore hours of my life to stare at this thing. I liked the book, but the series got so far away from the book that itā€™s not even the same story anymore. I wonder if theyā€™ll try to milk it out to a third season if this one does well. ---

Not a Stephen King fan, but ā€¦ I like to watch Angie run through town ā€¦ bouncing. And I want to see who else Big Jim will just shoot, like a real villain would. I wish heā€™d shoot Barbie. And I wonder who else has been hiding out in the small town for weeks, waiting to come out when theyā€™ve killed off enough early regulars. A guest appearance from Fox Mulder would be nice, but Iā€™m afraid Jim would shoot him. Iā€™d rather see Dana Scully ā€œunder the domeā€ than in her boring new show ā€œCrisisā€. Maybe ā€œRedā€ Reddington will come by and sort everything out, tying in what the heck happened on the island in ā€œLostā€ and why is has something to do with ā€œTwin Peaksā€. I think itā€™s aliens. ---
