Also, I think she probably deluded herself into thinking he wasn’t a total monster, but realized she was quite wrong after getting abducted from her house. ---

I’d like to see Angie get out of the fallout shelter, but that’s because I don’t like enclosed spaces, not because I care about her. If the place had a window, I’d be fine with her staying there until the end. ---

I started watching the first ep on [cbs.com](http://cbs.com) but I didn’t make it all the way through. The actress playing Shumway would make a good Granuaile if they ever do an \*Iron Druid \*series, though. ---

I have my dvr set for zero recordings now\*; every time I turn on the tv in the evenings, it’s wall to wall reality dreck. Heck yeah I’m going to watch this show! 🙂 \*I’m going to program in “Under the Dome,” so then it will be set for one recording. ---

Things went to hell too quickly in the book, so stretching out the time under the dome helps a lot. So does changing the source of the dome. I guess I’ll keep watching. 🙂 ---

The letter from Stephen King actually is reassuring, that there is a method to the madness and they aren’t just screwing things around for the sake of it. I think there are many of us who just got burned by “World War Z” where they shouldn’t have even been allowed to use that title for the movie, and we’re cautious now. ---

Darn, Barbie stopped too early with the Junior beat-down… of course, if someone kills that annoying prick who will rescue Angie? She’s annoying, but not enough so to deserve death. Starting to feel bad for the lady police - seems all her friends are dying stupidly. I also have a feeling Big Jim is going to see Barbie as potential competition and wonder if he’ll arrange an “accident”. And why aren’t the military guys watching all the drama taking notes? Well, maybe they are, but I’d think they’d have some trying to figure out what’s going on inside as well as trying to figure out what the dome is. ---

As someone else said, seeing Big Jim as shorter than most everyone around is slightly jarring. As for the show itself, there are enough differences from the book to keep me watching, for now. I’m sure I’ll have to swallow a whole lot of characters not sharing important information, though, as this seems to be “the thing” in TV shows these days. Ugh. ---

Maybe it’s just me, but I think Junior hallucinated the “He screwed my brains out” conversation. Because you’re right, it’s not something a character in that situation would do. Especially after being told that she’ll be let go (basically) if she says she loves him. It would even make the awkward fishbowl line from the first episode make more sense. She never said it, it was a hallucination. ---

Has anyone even searched the entire perimeter? What about triangulating the centre, where the source of it may be located? How about a town meeting?
