My favourite by Jack Dean Tyler was the thread in Comments on Cecil’s Columns where he asserted that Jack The Ripper had to be a circumcised male because only someone circumcised could have that much hatred towards women. ---

If only because the guy was convinced that circumcision was the root of all evil, and a conspiracy, or whatever. I think routine circumcision is pretty stupid, but evil? Dude was seriously messed up. JDT was an entertaining wacko, who saw all manner of evil from the snipping of foreskin. He laid all kinds of diseases and psychological ills springing from circumcision as the root cause, and as has been noted, had some interesting ideas on pleasing women. ---

You can’t summarily dismiss someone’s POV as being “naturally” anti-semitic because they’re anti-circumcision. If that particular guy was anti-semitic fine, but with a wave of your hand you discredited most of the world as anti-semitic because most of the world doesn’t routinely practice circumcision and, circumcision rates are dropping. Is the world becoming increasingly anti-semitic? That’s a false correlation. ---
