> Guido the killer pimp from _Risky Business_ is Ralphie from _The Sopranos_. That’s another that is obvious when you look now, but I didn’t connect them at first…

Hell, [Joe Pantoliano](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001592/) was also in The Goonies, The Matrix, The Fugitive, Memento, and over a hundred other things, even an episode of M_A_S\*H, but it still takes a while before you realize it’s all the same guy.

> It was IMDB that pointed out that Fred from Roseanne (Jackie’s baby daddy) was also Danny Noonan in _Caddyshack_. You look now and it’s obvious that it’s the same guy, but I never put that together before.

Had you seen the Roseanne episode where he spoofs his classic scene from GREAT SANTINI?

> Also, Robert Wise directed The Day the Earth Stood Still, West Side Story, and the first Star Trek movie. Which admittedly isn’t implausible, but they are pretty different kinds of films.

He was also film editor on **Citizen Kane** and director of **The Body Snatchers** and **The Sound of Music.**

It wasn’t until I looked up something about the show on IMDB that I realized Anthony LaPaglia, who plays Jack Malone on “Without a Trace” also played Simon Moon, Daphne’s loutish brother on “Frasier.”

He does his none-of-us-have-ever-beaten-you patter right before scoring the winning basket against Dan – who replies by taunting him in best Robert Duvall fashion, punctuating his comments by repeatedly bouncing the ball off Fred’s head.

William Daniels played three different members of the Adams family, in a variety of places – he did John Adams (twice), Sam Adams, and John Quincy Adams (twice! A quarter of a century apart!)
I knew about John and Sam, but I didn’t know he’d played John Quincy until I looked him up on IMDb
