I’ve been told several times I look like Meatloaf, especially when I had long hair. It’s been short for several years now, and the comparisons slowed down until Meatloaf cut his hair too. ☹ ---

A guy who was flirting with me and thought he was complimenting me told me I looked like Sarah Jessica Parker. When I made a face and asked him why, he said we had the same chin. :mad: I do not. Several years ago my Mom thought I looked like Annabeth Gish, which is better. ---

More recently, however, I had someone say I reminded her of Wayne Knight (who has apparently lost a lot of weight). She meant it as a compliment, as she thought Knight was a hottie. :dubious: ---

When I was a teenager, some girl at school told me I looked like Loretta Lynn. I don’t look like Loretta in the least, so I puzzled over that one quite a while until I realized the girl may have meant Sissy Spacek, who played Loretta in Coal Miner’s Daughter. And dammit, I _was_ a goofy-looking little waif… ---

Unflattering? Velma from Scooby Doo.\* ☹ Better than Velma? Lisa Loeb. I don’t really care for her one way or the other, but dammit, at least she’s not Velma! - It doesn’t help that I hate that damn cartoon. ---

When I was younger, I was often compared to the fat kid from _Stand By Me_ or Piggy from _Lord of the Flies._ Once I hit high school, and got a job, the first thing I bought with my first paycheck was a new pair of glasses… since, the plastic black ones made for effective birth control. Now, especially when I’m unshaven, I get comparisons to Seth Rogen. This I don’t mind much, since like NAF, it’s been the start of some pretty good conversations with the opposite sex. ---

Someone once compared me to the awkward weirdo catholic schoolgirl character(I’m drawing a complete blank on the character and the performer’s names) from SNL skits. ☹ Also, Daria. A LOT. But I LIKED her(and totally agreed with the comparisons, even when they were meant to be insulting.) ---

Back in the day I used to get told I looked like Kate Jackson from when she was in [Scarecrow & Mrs. King](http://www.maestravida.com/weinwalk/BRAVOcover.JPG). Yah, I wasn’t impressed. If I was going to choose and Angel to look like, it wouldn’t have been her. ---

When I was a little kid (6-10 or so), I was told I looked like Horshack. Even then I knew that wasn’t such a good thing. ☹ But I grew out of it … and into Peter Brady :rolleyes: But that too passed. My hair grew out, a goatee grew in, and for years and years and years I couldn’t get on a subway or walk down the street without someone telling me I looked like Jesus. 🆒 ---
