When I was in college, my friends loved to talk about a Vietnamese place called “Pho King Vietnamese Noodle” It’s friggen _hillarious_ if you know how to pronounce “[Pho](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media:Pho.ogg)” in Vietnamese.😃 ---

They do not appear to be in business anymore, alas, but I can personally attest that a company once existed in Beecher, Illinois called **Beecher Tool & Die**. I have also heard people speak of **Beecher Meat & Liquor** , but I make no claims to the veracity of that one. ---

I used to drive by the Sue Mee Restaurant but I never ate there. Internet evidence suggests there actually was a Beecher Meats once but the website with Beecher Meat & Liquor and Beecher Tool & Die is a joke site Some comedian recently noted that we shouldn’t surprised that banks are hitting us with big fees when they have names like Chase and Wachovia. ---
