When I worked part time for an insurance a long time ago, we came across a woman named Fanny Greaser. I can only surmise that her parents had a cruel sense of humor. But a quick google turned up [seven of 'em](http://www.census-online.us/search/GREASER,FANNY). How could any parent do that to an innocent baby? ---

My home town had, as many do, a little page for announcing the births, deaths, and marriages, and, as is also common, some families put more of those announcements in than others. One family were the Squeeks, one were the Squelches. So to my delight there were was one the announcement of the forthcoming ‘Squelch-Squeak marriage between Anastasia Squelch and somebody of a less noteworthy name Squeak.’ 😃 ---

I went to school with a Preston Preston. He answered to P square. My ex-husband was friends with a guy in basic training - Private Sargent. My kids’ pediatrician is Dr. Harms. ---

The show’s main military characters were Private Public and General Specific. One episode also had a Corporal Ethereal. I knew a girl in high school who went by her middle name, Annette, but her real first name was Mary. Mary Annette. Marionette. The best friend of a girl I dated in high school was a girl named Donny Marie. Guess the era in which she was born. ---

My dad’s old boss was named Dick Seyman. I’m not sure I got the spelling correct but it was pronounced the same was as semen.
