A friend of mine sent me this link–and I had to laugh at the name. I wondered if there were other equally poorly named food products out there. I just sold a bunch of (gorgeous) candy boxes to the owner of “Aunt Flo’s Chocolates.” I don’t care if the candy is [lawnguyland accent] to die for[/lawnguyland accent], the name is a total turn-off. Ick! Ick! Ick! ---

Couple of years ago I stopped in a truck stop for a snack and gas – picked up a tasty-looking sausage in a shrink-wrapped package. As I’m driving down the road I get ready to eat the sausage, notice the name on it: “Li’l Chub.” I laughed all the way to Denver. Never did eat the sausage – I brought it back home to show my brother, he confiscated it, still has it in his den. ---

It never made it to market, but some one once proposewd a snack chip called “HITS”. The reason it never made it to market?
