This was brought to mind by the “Is Richard Lewis funny?” thread. My nominations: Martin Mull - He is always described as a comedian, however I have never laughed at anything he has ever said. Has he ever even DONE stand up comedy? David Brenner - Sure, he is funny LOOKING…but funny? No. Jay Leno - OK, about 1 of every 100 jokes he tells is mildly humorous, so he could vaguely be considered as funny, but I very rarely laugh during his monologues. Richard Lewis and Whoopi Goldberg were mentioned in the other thread, and neither of them is or ever has been funny. ---

Norm MacDonald should…nay MUST be added to any list of unfunny comedians, as should Janine Garafolo and Gilbert Gottfried. ---

The hard part these days is trying to think of a commedian who is actually funny. The Eddie Izzard special on HBO last year is about the only time in the last 5 years I actually laughed at stand-up. ---

BRUCE VILANCH is soooo not funny, he’s quite repulsive, that includes his appearance.
