Today at work I found myself munching and crunching cinnimon altoids and guzzling Pepsi Blue. An unholy taste combination, yet disturbingly addictive. I have not had such a pervese taste such as this since I was a wee lad and used to mix grape jiuce with milk. My fellow dopers, what unholy food combinations do you swear by? If your embaressed you can always claimed such cravings were brought on because of pregnancy. Thanks in advance Osip ---

I used to put Doritos (the traditional cheese flavor) in the middle of my peanut butter and fluff sandwiches. I swear, you couldn’t even taste them, and the crunch made it all worth it. I was probably about 10 at the time, in my defense. ---

I understand that they eat fried chicken with waffles down in the Southlands. With the syrup and everything. Sounds weird, but I guess it could be good. ---

This is gross, so get ready. I used to eat white bread dipped in my glass of sweet tea. Yes, that’s right _soggy_ bread. I loved it!! I stopped because now I only drink water and if I eat bread it’s wheat. The taste just mix well for me. I liked (real, whole) coke and ritz crackers too. ---

My brother really liked chocolate cake and gravy. **kiffa** (she’s gonna kill me), at least once, ate a tuna sammich with a Ding Dong squashed in the middle. I, having the best taste of all my siblings, love strong Cheddar Cheese heavily sprinkled with sugar. numnumnumnumnum! ---

Honey as a dipping sauce for fried chicken; it was served that way when I was a kid. (Not honey mustard: plain honey.) It sounds horrendous but actually it’s a nice variation. The sweetness combines nicely with salty/spicy taste. And since the only proper way to eat fried chicken is with your fingers anyway, any extra mess is pretty much a moot point. Now I find it too rich and cloying after a few bites and revert to my beloved “extra salt and French’s hot sauce” stand-by. Veb ---

My husband eats cottage cheese and pickles, mixed together in the pocket of pita bread. Or grape jam, cheddar cheese and pickle in the pocket. He is perverse. ---

I like to dip buttered toast in orange juice. I’ve eaten this since I was very young. My mom eats this too. So to me, this is comfort food. ---

Peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I’ve _never_ found another soul willing to try it, though. ☹ French fries dipped in butterscotch pudding. Tastes like that old cereal “Waffle Crisp”. Wintergreen Altoids and Diet Pepsi tastes like how Windex smells. ---

Not fried chicken exactly, but we were always treated to fried salmon patties served with a mixture of peanut butter and syrup, and plenty of buttermilk buscuits. Best food in the world!
