# Uninsured rate drops to lowest number since Obama took office

Of course there are other things always going on, but that increase is too steep at just about the right time, just as the decrease is also too steep at a convenient time. I don’t think it can be claimed that the 18% wasn’t due to ACA but the 15.9% number is. Given how the numbers have gone up and down, it could very well be that the next quarterly poll shows a big increase in the uninsured.
