On the main Canadian highway leading out of Windsor, MI to the east is a sign for a side street. “Sexton Side Road” When I drove by there c. 12 years ago, someone had blotted out the “t”… ---

This was undoubtedly intentional (but not by me!): The local drive-in closed down back in 1978. The last movie it showed was “Clash of the Titans.” Some wag stole two letters from the marquee. Guess which two? The “A” and the “N,” so the marquee said, “Clash of the Tit s.” ---

Similarly, all of the other road signs around have more whitespace at the ends than [this one](https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@50.831876,-1.219264,3a,16.7y,256.31h,77.78t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sm6WvEKtVIX-40lA15TKkew!2e0!6m1!1e1). ---

I actually LOL’ed at both the juvenile defacement and the comically low amount of whitespace there. ---

I would venture to say this is fairly common, but who knows: In deer country, and especially around Christmas-time, someone will invariably put a red circle on the nose of a “Deer Crossing” sign–the one that has a silhouette of a deer. Ho ho ho! Of course, any other time of the year the deer is anatomically correct (if it’s a male, that is). ---

Many years ago I worked in a facility that had a small pantry with a lock on it.
