I keep thinking there has to be one from The Big Lebowski, because its so full of hilarious one liners that the writers could _not_ have intentionally thought of them _all_. Unfortunately, I can’t think of anything that quite fits the bill - so maybe the Coen brothers were actually just pure genius in that case. ---

Early in the re-released version of _The Exorcist_\*, the psychiatrist evaluating young Regan turns to the mother and says very seriously (paraphrased), “I would like to try her on a new experimental drug. It’s called…Ritalin.” We were surrounded by serious movie geeks in one of the last shows we ever saw at the old Coronet Theater in San Francisco before it was torn down. The audience still howled at that one. \*For all I know, this was in the original version, too. ---

In the Oliver Stone movie “Nixon” is one of the funniest ever. Nixon is carrying on about something, and his wife, Pat, decides it’s time for some Potomac lovin’. She makes her move, and he is disinterested, and says “I’m not Jack Kennedy!” This is hilarious, as if JFK were the only person that has ever wanted sex! Best wishes, hh ---

Anybody mention nuclear wessels? Anybody know the 3 Stooges episode where they are mixing up some concoction with their usual ingredients like ‘franazanamanastan’, and one of the ingredients was ‘onomatopoeia’? It wasn’t unintentional humor, but I laughed out loud in a junior high school english class when I learned what the word meant. ---
