Who came armed? I’ve seem a few pics of tighty rightys packing heat, none of the “radical left antifas”. Not saying they didn’t, just didn’t see any pics. Charlottesville is “open carry”, so not suggesting there’s anything illegal about packing heat for a public demonstration. Just somewhat unwise. Rather. Who _does_ shit like that? ---

I just saw a photo of a white supremacist wearing a “Hurley” logo T-shirt (the letter H, it looks like an X). I’m sure glad that I don’t own a company whose logo is going to be sported by Hitler Sympathists. ---

Even now, the echo chambers do not see Nazis at Charlottesville; they see patriots fighting Communism. The whole gig depends on repeated confrontation and victimhood. So, yeah, both sides arm themselves, and the right sees one side as "certain individuals having nothing to do with our beliefs and goals” and on the other side the “violent, totalitarian Left.” ---
