That’s a descent to a still lower lever of hypointelligence IMO, for someone who is obsessed with his legacy. The strait of Hormuz is in the international news either in a negative context (when there is conflict), or not at all (when there is no problem). ---

Trump is very obviously desperate to conclude this war with some sort of positive story prior to the November elections. But it’s not all up to him. I expect Iran knows this very well, and is not especially eager to assist Trump with his electoral concerns. So I’m expecting Iran to sporadically disrupt shipping in the Strait, ramping it up in October. ---
