This thread prompted me to wander over to Wikipedia to learn a little more about the men’s volleyball scene, and I just couldn’t help but take notice of Lewis University. It’s this tiny Illinois school that, at least in this sport, somehow manages to consistently compete with the big boys. They even won the whole tournament one year, although because of some eligibility issues they were forced to give it back. I think it’s genuinely kind of neat.
