I saw an **Idiot’s Guide to Life** in a bookstore once. Just to be safe, it had “PARODY” written in big letters at the top of the front cover. I suppose they were worried that someone who bought the book would demand a refund when they found out that the answers to all of life’s problems weren’t in fact contained within the book’s 50 or so pages. ---

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Purchasing Idiot’s Guides. Sort of off topic but you know the Ginko stuff that is supposed to enhance your memory? How do the people that need it remember to go to the store and buy it? Much less remember to take one a day? ---

She couldn’t pronounce it. She said “Larry (our neighbor) said I should take this, but I can’t remember what it’s for.” I took the bottle from her and read the label. It was ginko biloba extract. I still tease her about it. ---
