Hope Peeker doesn’t vig Ichini as he has threatened, as I’d quite like to play. The threat is a good one, as any lurkers should take notice, but vigging an inactive player would be a poor move at this stage, only a 4/18 chance of being scum. Chronos, how exactly does your program work? Do you try to weight votes at all, or is the only assumption that scum will vote town more often than each other? ---

How do you do that in a game where you don’t know who is Scum? It would seem like a cart before the horse problem to me, as your program is supposed to determine who is most likely to be scum, right? ---

What it does is it looks at every possible arrangement of Town and Scum, and then does that analysis for each one. ---

I’m in the boat that Tom Scud and Guiri are scum. Wish People went back to that color coded voting chart and FILLED it in now that that they know there’s a real scum person and they have several townies as well. Of the 3 switchers to save FS, people have got to realize sometimes it CAN be that easy… And Damn Peeks for the Vigging! I mean I understand it, and if I was in his shoes I woulda picked Story instead of Me but still! I’d like to hear from him his justifications at the end of the Game… :Sigh: ---

I’ve never played Mafia, but have been browsing the game in progress with interest and confusion. I’m fairly competent at _some_ sorts of games, but know Mafia is the sort of game I’d need a lot of experience just to become mediocre. Nevertheless I’d like to try! Is there a better site for beginners? Does it annoy regulars when beginners try to play? Would it be possible to insist I not be assigned a special role for my first game or two? ---

However, asking for non-special roles isn’t possible, as it would indicate to some degree what your role is(vanilla town or scum).
