I was looking through pictures I took in St Martin this past winter, and was reminded of this boat. Any idea what it is? 😕 [Odd looking boat](http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s218/vetbridge/boat1.jpg) [Another shot](http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s218/vetbridge/boat2.jpg) (Aside: the island in the background is Saba, a five square mile island located off the coast of St Martin. If it is overcast at all, you cannot see it. On a perfectly clear day, it looks like you could swim to it. My first trip to St Martin, I saw it for the first time on our third day, and it shocked me, since I had been looking out that way and seeing nothing _from our balcony_ the first couple days. It was as if it rose from the ocean depths. /aside) ---

I suppose it depends on whether there are unstable fault lines near Saba. And on how many nuclear warheads have gone missing lately. ---

Clearly must have been the French side. Looks like a modified pontoon boat. ---

😃 Yep, it was the French side of the island. Belaire beach (which is where my gf’s place is). I just thought it was a strange design. ---
