I second Tony Shalhoub…although I worry that it’s the character he plays…I feel compassion for Adrian Monk and want to “fix” him. I’m so happy Aidan Quinn now has a TV series. Not that he’s not conventionally attractive, but he’s underrated as an actor and I’ve had a crush on him ever since _Desparately Seeking Susan_. When I was in high school , late 70’s, I LOVED Welcome Back Kotter. But it wasn’t John Travolta I had a crush on. It was Ron Palillo… AKA “Horshack”. Oh yes, I recognized that John was the cute one, and I did think he was the best lookin’ thing I had ever seen. BUT… I think I identified with Horshack’s dorkiness, because I just LOVED him. ---

Sean Bean? There is _nothing_ unusual about that – the man is smokin’ hot. Same with Stephen Colbert. OK, maybe that is a little unusual, but I’m totally with you on that one, **pokey**! And I agree that a big part of the draw is the dichotomy between what he looks like on the outside and what he’s like on the inside. _rowr_ My unusual celebrity crush? [Ray Winstone](http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1145000/images/_1146221_ray_winstone_150.jpg) . I’ve seen him be physically abusive in “Nil by Mouth,” sexually abusive in “The War Zone,” oiled and greasy in “Sexy Beast,” and violent and thuggish in “Scum” (he plays, presumably, the title character) – none of these show him in a remotely appealing light, but he’s so _good_ in them. Seeing him in an old episode of “The Kumars at No. 42” the other night, where he seems almost cuddly in real life, reminded me of how much I like him. I also have a crush on Victor Garber from “Alias.” Love him! ---

I’ve read some other comments on the web about Suzy Kolber. To summarize, some people have described her as a she-man with a veins in her neck. I guess I have a thing for veiny-necked-she-men. ---

Most people in the US have no idea who Sean Bean is, except Boromir. And while he is, indeed, smoking’ hot, his oeuvre is largely… well, unfortunate. He’s made a career of being the best thing in bad movies. I’ve watched a lot of truly dreadful movies for that man! I agree that Stephen Colbert isn’t unusual, but he’s certainly more unusual than Jon Stewart. I don’t think I know a woman who wouldn’t be willing to have 10,000 of his snarky babies. And Victor Garber is \*\*so \*\* crushworthy! ---

I have a thing for older women in general so I find myself mildly lusting after Helen Mirren, Vanessa Redgrave, and Charlotte Rampling, even though they are all at least 25 years older than I am. I’d include Pam Grier, but IMHO, there’s nothing unusual about _that_. I wouldn’t call my feelings for [Emily Perkins](http://imdb.com/name/nm0673932/) a crush, per se, because I’m not sexually attracted to her, but she sounds like she’d be an awesome person to hang out with. ---
