Looking over the thread, I find it strange that almost every concert I’ve attended has had some weirdness/wildness associated with it. A simpler thread might be “Ever been to a concert where nothing odd happened?”
I took it more to mean @kayaker was saying the guy was such an unstable loose cannon he died early through bad life choices.
But just in case, I’m going to make it a point to never gratuitously heckle kayaker.
IIRC he died as a consequence of his obesity and lifestyle. He wasn’t even 50 I don’t think.
my roommate said there is a free concert with Gil Scott Heron so we decided to go. About 500 people there and only 4 white people including the 2 of us. We got a lot of strange looks. We later found out it was the black homecoming show.
Sorry, but this just cracks me up, because I’m hearing Chris Rock going off on the Black Mall… but he’s complaining about “You got your white homecoming, then you got your black homecoming!”
I suppose the part where one of the Blue Men crept up on me from behind, yanked my mouth open, and stuck a fake camera in it, qualifies as unusual from my perspective, though I’m sure it happened at every show.
