I have plenty of time but we are choosing a venue now. We’ll have a BBQ buffet and a DJ. I was hoping for other ideas. Maybe a photobooth? (are those expensive?). Anyone have or see something at a Sweet 16, bar mitzvah or Quincinara that seemed especially fun and different? Thanks for any help. ---

Oh man…photo booths are super in and super fun. Never been to a sweet 16 but have seen them at a couple weddings. They can’t be too expensive - the two weddings I’ve seen them at were not high budget at all. ---

We had an ice cream sundae bar at our daughter’s bat mitzvah. Our venue arranged it, but you can work directly with Ben and Jerry’s if your have a retail site near you. Another fun thing I’ve seen at a wedding was instead of desserts, they had a candy bar. As in, they had tubs and jars of candy (the bride and groom’s favorites) and little scoops and little bags. Everyone was invited to fill a bag and enjoy it either to take home or if you were like me, use it as a little sugar rush for dancing. ---
