> **The discovery of a mysterious object in our solar system** is the topic of a listen-and-log-on news briefing on Monday, March 15, at 1 p.m. EST.

So … Rendevous with Rama, or just the most distant Kuiper Belt/Oort Cloud snowball?

It’s a giant cue ball. Just orbiting and waiting for the right time to move in and hit the earth.

When I first read the headline, I thought perhaps it could be a Planet X deal, but naw, Brown’s a KBO guy. It’s most likely just another dirty snowball. If it’s a _distant_ dirty snowball, then it’s got to be a _big_ dirty snowball in order to be detected. Maybe he’s found something bigger than Pluto, which will bring up the whole annoying Is-Pluto-a-Planet stink again.

Bah.

Well, if that is so, it will confirm what we suspected for a long time: Pluto **IS** a Mickey Mouse planet. 😉
