In Japanese, “shoyu” is soy sauce. Hence, “show you.” I wonder, though, how many Japanese speakers actually made the connection to “Show me” and “Show you.” ---

God I love those crazy Japanese flash movies. Don’t forget Kikkoman soy sauce is kosher too! There was a thread about another wacky flash movie about a year back. hehe ---

I just saw the English version (it’s linked to on one of the linked threads). Gee, thanks guys. Now I’m going to have nightmares for weeks about cats being hung, fish-headed guys wearing sumo belts, and the bottle of Worcestershire sauce in my cupboard being attacked by the soy sauce. ---

I’ll have to ask my wife when she gets back from work tonight, but I remember her telling me earlier that there was some sexual play-on-words involving either his name or the kanji on his loincloth. Dunno why the cat hangs himself, though. ---

BTW, a lot of these flash animations are made by some folks at a message board called Mona. Here’s a page from their site that contains links to other flash files. I don’t think that cut hung himself. It looks to me like the cat was being forced to put soy sauce on omelette, and when it refused Kikkoman killed it. This led to a fight with a young girl who was the cat’s owner, who Kikkoman than molests. ---
