Thanks! That sounds like the way to go since up-conversion via component DVD players seem to very rare and more expensive.
Will I still get the picture up-conversion improvement this way?
We had a booth at our recent home/patio show, and were running an Sony upconverting DVD player into a Sony 40" LCD on one side, and a Blu-Ray player into a Sony 1080P LCD projection tv on the other, and the difference was amazing…there really is no comparison if you can match up the new HD formats with a true 1080P display.
