I just heard from Tim, with an update about Cristi. THey’ve issued an amended death certificate, cause of death drowning - it had nothing to do with her recent hospitalization. Tim also reports that he spoke to the medical examiner, who confirmed she’d had a seizure. he wanted folks here to know, also gave many thanks to for all the good wishes, thoughts, prayers. I asked how the kids were doing, he says they’ve got a counselor coming in regularly, they still have sad/hard times (I suspect that recent mother’s day was a challenge), but the kids are able to sleep at night now. he ended his email with > [@](#): > > Thanks to you and all of her friends on the board for your love and > \>support I asked the admins if it was ok to post for him, they gave permission due to the very unusual circumstances. It’s funny who “strangers” from the internet affect ones life. I did not know Cristi other than reading posts here and there, but I do have to say when he posted about her death I felt bad- I even cried for her. I think of her kids often and hope that all is well for them. Thanks for posting this **wring**. ---

Ditto the thanks. **Acrylic Vessel** and I think about her all the time. I’m glad things are going OK for Tim and the kids and I’m equally glad he realizes she had a lot of friends here who want to keep in the know. That’s real big of him. ---

**wring** thanks for the update. Please thank Tim for keeping us informed. I’m glad to here the children are getting counseling to help them deal with losing their mother. I agree with what **misstee** said. I didn’t know Christi from other than her posts which I always enjoyed. Of course, this addictive board has given me a really strange, lot of fun, dysfunctional but loving extended internet “family” of which she was a part, so her passing left something missing. Thanks for the update. I met Persephone at a Dopefest in Lansing, MI, several years ago, along with **wring** and maybe a couple more people. It’s still hard to believe that she died from a seizure. ---

Yeah, thanks for the update. At some level, it makes me feel better that the facts are known, especially for Tim, the kids and **Euty** of course. Still ☹ for it being something so uncontrollable. ---

Thank you, wring and Tim. I can imagine how hard it is for him to deal with this and for him to think of us like he does, well, he’s a mensch. Words cannot describe my admiration and appreciation.
