# Update - I got a job offer today!

Now that **slackergirl** is heading back into the wonderful world of employment, I’m hoping she’ll get cable. Last Saturday, I ended up watching a whole bunch of Native American music on public television because that was the best thing on.

Well, a belated thanks to Mr. BirdyBird - and I’m glad you liked the Monkees. It will be so nice to have my purchasing power back.

Zenster, we can work out lunch once I’m settled in. I still don’t start for 2 weeks.

And Snooooopy, you could have just come to bed with me - nobody forced you to watch the wacky Native American guy and his goth back up singers - but the management will consider your request.

But I thought your intention was to go to SLEEP, as in closing your eyes and being unconscious.

While we’re on the subject of the music, I was right about the white guy playing the drums – he indeed was Kenny Aronoff, who spent many years laying down the beat in John Mellencamp’s band.
