I talked to my mom. She sounds so much better! I actually didn’t cry on the phone this time. She said that the doctors are leaning towards letting her go tomorrow, discharging her at noon. ::crosses her fingers:: ---

Thank God, Silver!! That’s wonderful news. Whenever I hear “ulcer” and “pancreas” in the same phrase, I get nervous. I’m very glad it wasn’t anything more serious and that she’ll be able to get back to living a normal life now (and that you will too). And never assume that anyone’s irritated about hearing news - more of us would be irritated at NOT hearing any. ---
