It’s called The Writers’ Almanac, actually, though I like your title better.
I know what you mean about NPR. It’s a pity, because they have some really great programs that I love to listen to.

Yep - that’s the one. Makes me batshit.

stubbornly refuses all my requests to erase that man’s voice from their programming schedule. Something about ratings.
It could be worse. (And, yeah, my local NPR station carries Keillor’s “Saying Boring Things Slowly.”
I use the Delphi system. You buy a basic unit that looks like this.

Then you buy a home adaptor kit, a car adaptor kit or the boombox. You can buy all three (I wish!) and just carry the basic unit around with you. They do have a home adaptor kit which allows you too hook the XM up to your own speakers. There is even a new computer adaptor.

Yep. It’s as simple as switching from AM to FM1 to FM2 to XM1 and XM2. I just press the band button on my remote control or the one on the unit itself.
Before anyone runs off and buys one, shoot me an email (in my profile). I can help.

She can. Go do it.
You’ll never regret it.
E-Mail sent to Anna.
Thanks

Sadly, you sent it to me, Quasi.
But it was nice to hear from you.
Sorry to have bothered you, Jonathan. I’ll resend. Thanks for letting me know.
Quasi - got your email and responded.
I can get my hands on coupons if anyone needs them. The coupons are for a discount on certain headunits for you car.
Anna, perhaps you don’t want to say or you wish to be discreet, but do you work for XM? Is that how you’re so darned smart about it?
She’s smart in general.
Realize, scout, that even if she did she’s almost certainly not allowed to mention it in this sort of forum.
Suffice to say that she’s impressed me with what she knows, okay?
Yeah, what he said.
Uh…could I get that signed and sent certified mail to my boss? He’s in some doubt on that first point, due to a minor incident involving post-its, a box of Peeps and some batteries.
Thanks ever so. air kiss
Batteries and Peeps.
I don’t even want to know…
