I haven’t heard anything lately about the operator of the crematorium in Georgia who was dumping bodies in the woods, claiming the furnace had been broken (for years??). What’s going on with that case? How about the woman who let a hit and run victim bleed to death stuck in her windshield for two days? So many odd stories, and then we never hear the result. Any updates? Any updates on stories I haven’t mentioned? ---

I’d WAG that most end up grinding through the system with jail terms or fines, probation etc. I don’t imagine the aftermath is very entertaining after they get caught. ---

Bond was set for the crematory operator this week. [This NYTimes article](http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/national/AP-Corpses-Discovered.html?ex=1028681550&ei=1&en=bebdd852168b0ec0) has some comments he made. He had been denied bond three times previously. A Cobb county judge will have the trial, as the local Walker County judges all had connections to the trial and recused (is that the right word?) themselves ---

Yeah, I agree with him completely. 'Cause if a white guy had dumped hundreds of corpses in the woods, the Man would have turned a blind eye. Then again, we already knew we were dealing with a person who is Not Well In The Head, so why should I be surprised at anything he says? ---

I didn’t add my commentary to his comments because they pissed me off the first time I read them, enough so that I’d e-mailed that article to myself in anticipation of a Pit rant. By the end of the day I wasn’t mad enough to have a decent rant, so I ended up not posting about it. Then I saw this thread, and new I could at least put the link to good use, and someone would have the words I couldn’t come up with anymore.
