Hi! **swampy** dressed yet? I don’t wanna look. Went with the child to see the watch she wants to buy me for Dad’s Day. We always pre-approve gifts between the two of us. It’s nice, so she had the man set it aside. It’s good to have a kid that sells jewelry. Getting ready to head up and get some sleep before the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL. Not that I’m happy or nuthin’ like that. Nope. 😛 ---

Cousin’s school has classes right thru the last week of June - usually the last day coincides with her b-day (she’s rather pissed off at that) but the kids always shower her with end of year gifts so it kind of makes up for it. ---

Kind of typical midwest timing for end of school. My district was out last week as were several other local ones. A few are out at the end of this week. My niece and nephew have school till next Tuesday and that’s REALLY LATE for these parts. ---

**nash** , that is an awesome fish tank. I love that Buddha sitting in the midst of those fishies; gives the whole thing a certain _je ne sais quoi_. **Li-li** , here’s hoping your water gets fixed ASAP. **rigs** , That Guy refuses (on some weird principle) to dress up for anything other than weddings and funerals. We’ve had two formal events this year and each time he’s shown up in something ridiculous. For the winter ball he just showed up in a shirt with a yellow tie around his neck. :dubious: Had an exhausting day teaching classes and hanging out with the parents. Not that I minded the latter, but I was still trying to recover from last night. It was really nice hanging out with my mom, though. I missed her so much this year. Of course I couldn’t tell her the real reason why I’d been so frazzled these past few months (That Guy) but it was comforting just to get a hug from her anyway. ---

For each step, I have to go in person to see whomever has to do it; the only case when it’s OK not to go in person is when they’re in another location. Wonder if I could convince these freaks that I do need to face-to-face with the remote programmers? Just a quick flit past the MMP to say hello - I have a busy day with the dentistry results so that will keep me occupied until hometime! Beerverages were very yummy last night and I was very glad of my lie-in this morning. I am not so glad of the £300 bill that I’ll get later when I pick the car up, but at least it also means I get to go home early to collect it before the garage closes. Yay for Rosie though, it’s great to have that freedom back again! Yays, boos, hugs and crossed appendages for the rest of you, as appropriate (or otherwise, in **Swampy’s** case. ---

Vertical. Ventilating. Just finished caffeinating. **Swampus** , any nibbles from previous interviews to report? Good luck with the new ones today; leave the cape at home. Just sayin’. The sveltesurgeon visit was uneventful. I’ve gained 5 lbs since I saw him last, but I’ve also lost some in between visits as determined by the tightness of my favorite blue jeans. It’s not unexpected, because I’ve entered the stage where should I not actively diet and exercise, but also also be pretty passive about not blowing the program, I’ll yo-yo in a 10 lb range for several years. I still want to get down to 199.5 long enough to record that I was there, so there’s more dieting and exercise in my future. Besides, I’ll be able to get into even smaller foundation accesses in my gear… 😉 VWife is mad at me. I had ambulance duty tonight, so I’ll be spending the night at the rescue station. She always gives me a raft of crap for pulling duty, or even showing up for work days. No time is good in her mind. I’m supposed to be home waiting on her hand and foot (even when she’s not been in a wreck) in between mowing the yard and doing other chores. :rolleyes: ---

Going to the doc today. I’m a little nervous about doing the stairs without someone there to catch me. But Terrorist said I did fine. It’ll just take me a while to get started down the outside steps. The inside ones probably won’t be a problem. The snooze button on my clock no longer works. I need to replace the damn thing. Again. ---

Damn. I left my sunglasses where the three of us had dinner last night. Cuervo left a pile of puke on the dining room floor. He also apparently had some midnight cat-sex on the floor next to my bed. That’s where I woke and found his girlfriend, the stuffed grey beanie baby cat. On the other hand, it IS the last day of school… ---
