I am all :smack: :mad: this morning. I managed to get out of the house early but forgot my reading glasses and book. The book is no biggie, but I gotta put out a release today and will have a hell of a time trying to figure out who the kickbacks are cause the report prints out in teeny tiny type. **nashii** , the heck with the fishies, I’m admiring the cutie-patootie with the long curly brown hair. Wahhh! I can’t see Picasa pics. It just gives me a box. I wanna see fishies! And **MBG** ’s TMI post. Uneventful night last night. I fixed some poke chops and mashed **NOT** s and sauteed zucchini and tomatoes. No appreciatin’ was had, 'cause I pooped out and went to bed before 9:00 pm. Sometimes I regret getting a damn puppy! Not really, but man is he a lot of work. Especially with Lucy sick and not helping me babysit. She’s about the same. I’ve been snuggling and cuddling her a bit, when Ernie is outside, or off in the car with Mr Rebo. Then this morning at 4:15 am, Ernie is trying to cough up a hairball or something right over my head. Jeez! I threw him on the floor and he jumped right back up. repeat ad nauseum. I finally got up at 4:35, and the automatic coffeemaker malfunctioned, so it wasn’t ready yet. It acts weird sometimes, and loses power or something, and when the clock doesn’t work, it doesn’t know when to start the coffee. Stoopit coffeemaker. Obviously, it’s 10 minutes before I get up! So I’m at work, and VERY caffeinated (can you tell? ;)) and I have a whole of nuthin’ to do. Yesterday we had a meeting to tell us it will be a little slow for a while, but things will pick up in a couple of weeks. Can you say bored? Yay for the job, **Jah**! Sorry about the friction at home, **Bobbio**. Hey, I joined the MMP after your surgery. How’d you get the nick of **Bobbio**? It seems to be related to that, if I’m reading it right… Ok - off to surf some more! ---

At the time I was ginormously fat and bald; now I’m moderately fat and still bald. The name kinda stuck anyway. Guess what I did this morning? I called my parents and begged for money. I am that pathetic. But they’re sending it, which is good. 😃 Roomie got a letter saying that Unemployment is going to fight her claim, which means that they won’t pay her a dime until after the meeting about it, which is scheduled far enough in the future that we’d probably die of starvation before it happened. Grr. I’m going to go apply for a job at the 7-11, because that seems to be all I’ve got left. Le sigh. ---

Morning, all. I’m alive and caffeinating. I could _not_ get to sleep last night until just insanely late, so I’m still barely here this morning. But at least it was a lovely cool night for sleeping with the windows wide open to enjoy the fresh air. I do like to sleep in fresh air whenever possible, but only if it’s not too humid. I was only an occasional pop-in-and-outer \ in the MMP when you got your nick, **Bobbio** , so it’s interesting to learn the origins of it. Sounds like you deserve it – gettin’ all svelte and stuff is a big deal! You’ll do fine on the stairs, **Rosie** , once you start trusting that you really _can_ do it. Do you not have a rail on the outside steps? You definitely want to use some external support for a while if not, and probably whenever you leave your house – I used a cane the whole time we were in New Orleans, for example, even though I’d stopped using it at all at home by that point, just because of lots of walking on uneven ground. I felt much safer with it, even if I technically didn’t need it any more. Do what you need to to feel safe, and I know you’ll do fine! Sorry you threw up, **LiLi**. And do get some bottled water, just in case! You might even keep a bucket of water in your bathroom for a while just in case – there’s nothing more frustrating than not having any water to flush toilets with! Especially since it sounds like you can’t depend on your landlady/the plumbers to notify you before they turn the water off. I guess I should do something constructive. Or something. Mostly I just want to sit here and enjoy the fresh air, since it may get warm enough later to have to close up the house and turn on the air again. ☹ ---

_URP_ Excuse me again. I just ate Messican for lunch. But swampy, do you not have leftover babyback ribs from last night to eat for lunch, you ask? Well, that is indeed true, however they will now be tomorrow’s lunch. See, I went to get a haircut at ten this mornin’. I was on my way back home when my cell phone rang. It was ol’ y’all know who. “You in town?”, asks him. “Yep, I am,” replies me. “Wanna go eat Mexican?”, asks him. “Ok.”, replies me. There’s a new Messican place that’s advertisin’ buy one get one free lunches and dinners right now. So we went. I had a chicken chimichanga with rice and beans. ACBG had two beef enchiladas with rice and beans. Pity the poor people that have to be around him this afternoon. 😃 At least I’m home where there’s no one to offend. **Sean** neither one of us would ever be Aquaman. Spiderman is ok but we prefer to play Captain America and Superman. 😛 **BooFae** wear gloves. Lessens the chances of fingerprints. I hear latex gloves are the best.
