Give in to the dark side! POST THE PORN! If you wanted to be evil you’d write a copy of the url where the porn is stored on the tape when you gave them back the tape. But I don’t recommend that ---

True story. I was the night manager at one video store, and one night I came back to the store - well after closing hours - to pick up something I’d forgotten. While I was there, I decided to be a Good Samaritan and clear out the drop box of returned videotapes. So I neatly stacked them on the counter, and I noticed one wasn’t labeled. My curiosity piqued, I put it in the VCR and turned on the store monitor. My jaw dropped - yep, a home porn tape. And there I was, watching porn, in a tie-dyed tshirt and no shoes, when a policeman shined his flashlight into the store at me. 🙂 ---

I too assumed that you were seriously considering posting the movie on the internet. Anyway, I consider that even _watching_ it when you’ve established it was a home-made movie is not acceptable. Let alone copying it… ---

I hardly ever post on the SDMB these days, but I’d just like to chime in here and say that I assumed **SwimmingRiddles** was joking. And I don’t have any problem with anyone viewing this tape. I find it hard to believe it ended up there by accident. And even if it did, a little embarrassment might encourage the tape’s owner to be more careful in the future. ---

Mr. Rilch has a digital camera. Naturally, shortly after he acquired it, he used it to record us having sex. Now, a digital camera uses very small cassettes; they’re not going to find their way into a rental box. And this particular cassette is in a Safe Place[sup]TM[/sup]. If anyone does find it and play it, the first thing they’ll see is me sitting up, pointing at the camera, and stating, “If anyone other than me or Mr. Rilch is watching this, **you** should be embarrassed.
